Tire Blowout Causes Deadly Charter Bus Crash

Four people died and 42 others were injured in a charter bus crash in North Carolina Saturday. The bus was carrying the Ramah Juco Academy football team from Rock Hills, South Carolina. They were en route to Fayetteville, North Carolina when the bus’s front tire blew out and the bus swerved into a guard rail and sideswiped a column of an overpass bridge.

Police say Brian Andre Kirkpatrick (43), Devonte Gibson (21), Tito Agosinho (19) and Darice Hicks (8) were killed in the accident. The 42 injured passengers were taken to local hospitals for injuries ranging from minor to critical.
