Police Investigate Cause of Fatal Accident in Phelan

One person was killed in a fatal accident in Phelan earlier this month. The crash was reported at 12:48 p.m. at Phelan Road and Nevada Road. When authorities arrived they found a Ford Focus and a Ford Fusion in the roadway. Both vehicles sustained major damage. A Dodge Dually towing a trailer was also involved in the crash and was stopped along the shoulder near the intersection.

According to San Bernardino County Fire, one person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. One person suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for moderate injuries.

Phelan Road was closed for several hours for the investigation and accident cleanup. Police are still investigating the cause of the fatal accident and have yet to release any further information.

“The photographs released of the damaged vehicles reveal what a devastating crash this was. Our thoughts are with the those who were injured and the family who lost a loved one in this crash,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
