4 Injured in Rancho Mirage Multi-Car Crash

Four people were injured in a multi-car crash in Rancho Mirage Monday morning. The crash occurred at the intersection of Dinah Shore Drive and Monterey Avenue around 10:40 a.m.

It is unclear what caused the collision, but a total of four vehicles were involved. One driver was trapped inside a vehicle until fire officials arrived to extricate the injured person.

One person involved suffered major injuries. A second person had moderate injuries, and the other two suffered minor injuries. All four were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Traffic was delayed in the area while the accident scene was cleared. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the multi-car crash.
