The Sun reported that a California auto accident where a car crashed into a light pole caused the road to be closed for several hours.

Authorities believe that the driver was drunk when he struck the pole.

The driver left the scene of the California auto accident before the police arrived, leaving behind pieces of the vehicle.

The police found the vehicle in a parking lot and arrested the driver.
