A Border Patrol agent was injured in the California auto accident when his truck hit a guardrail on the interstate, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

While on duty, the agent’s state-issued truck struck the guardrail, causing the truck to flip onto its side and slide nearly 250 feet off the road.

The agent injured in the California auto accident does not recall what happened to cause the crash.

He was taken to a local hospital for moderate injuries.
