Motorcycle Versus Big Rig Crash Kills Biker

A biker was killed in a motorcycle versus big rig crash on Highway 259 in San Bernardino Sunday. Authorities identified 49-year-old Jesse Hibbler of Colton as the victim of the fatal semi crash. Hibbler was riding his Suzuki motorcycle south on the highway near Base Line Street when he apparently lost control and rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

Hibbler was then ejected from his motorcycle onto the roadway. When first responders arrived, the tractor-trailer was gone. Paramedics transported the badly injured motorcyclist to St. Bernardine’s Medical Center. However, he passed away at the hospital later that day.

Truck Driver Involved in Motorcycle Versus Big Rig Crash Fled Scene

Police have not yet located the tractor-trailer driver. They are currently investigating the crash and trying to find the driver, who should have remained at the scene.
