Free AAA Workshop Offered for New Teen Drivers

AAA is offering a free workshop for teenagers and their parents to help prepare new teen drivers before they get behind the wheel. The “Dare to Prepare” program is offered for teens 14-15 years old and their parents.

Parents Play Important Role for New Teen Drivers

The workshop teaches pre-driving teens about the risks and responsibilities of driving. Additionally, it will overview the requirements for obtaining a driver’s license in California. Parents will learn what their responsibilities are as their teens learn to drive. They will also receive information about choosing a safe vehicle for their child and finding the right driving school.

The free course will be offered at the Palm Desert Community Center on Saturday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Space is limited, so parents who are interested should register as soon as possible. For more information and to register, visit the AAA website.

“With auto accidents being the No. 1 cause of death for teenagers, parents should do everything they can to prepare their new teen drivers for the responsibility of driving,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
