Man, 4 children die after California auto accident

A man driving a Mazda pickup truck southbound on California Highway 14 swerved and struck the center divider, causing his vehicle to overturn which resulted in five deaths.
According to an article from The Mountain Enterprise, another man driving a 1996 Nissan Altima southbound with five passengers was unable to avoid colliding with the pickup truck, and a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban collided with the rear of the Nissan Altima, killing four children in the backseat of the Nissan.
The article says it is unknown if the four children were properly restrained with seatbelts.
