Three people were injured in a fiery crash in Beaumont Saturday night. The crash occurred on the eastbound Highway 60 connector road to eastbound I-10 around 8:44 p.m. When firefighters arrived they found one unoccupied vehicle on fire and another vehicle occupied by three people who were all trapped inside.

Firefighters extricated the three occupants from the vehicle. Two of the victims were hospitalized with major injuries. The third person was also hospitalized for minor injuries. It is not clear who was driving the vehicle that caught fire or whether that driver was hurt.

All lanes of the connector road were closed following the fiery crash. At around 9:20 p.m. the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reopened the far left lane. The crash remains under investigation.

“We’re praying everyone involved in this crash has a quick recovery. Drivers entering and exiting the highway need to be conscious of the vehicles around them to ensure they can merge safely,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
