The California drunk driving victim was a passenger in a car whose driver was speeding down the road, lost control of the vehicle, and rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

The driver suffered some minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital to be treated. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

The man was driving his vehicle down the road when he attempted to pass two semi trucks; he crossed into oncoming traffic and hit two cars head on. His truck then hit a freightliner, forcing it into the paths of the two semi trucks.
