A California auto accident involving only one car claimed the life of a young woman and injured another, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The car that the women were traveling in drifted to the right, struck a curb, and drove on the sidewalk before it hit a utility pole and a streetlight.

One of the poles snapped and landed on the car.
